Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Pallavur, with a campus of approximately 24 acres is located 20 Kms. away from Palakkad town. It was setup in the year 1974, for the benefit of children seeking value based education. Chinmaya Vidyalaya is a progressive day boarding, co-educational CBSE school which imparts education from LKG to Class XII (Science and Commerce). The Vidyalaya lays great emphasis on the overall unfoldment and gentle blossoming of the child at the physical, mental, intellectual and spiritual self by integrating the best in our culture and philosophy of Education, thus emerging as a "School with a Difference"
The Vidyalaya also provides excellent facilities for various co-curricular and extracurricular activities which also includes programmes by the SPIC MACAY.
